GPS data coseismic database of April 6, 2009, L’Aquila earthquake

Five GPS receivers were installed on the CaGeoNet benchmarks (SELL, CPAG, CADO, ROIO, SMCO) four days before the main shock to augment the existing permanent stations (INGP, AQUI, AQUN, INFN), managed by Italian Civil Protection Department, ASI, Leica-Italpos and INGV. The whole region was monitored to characterize the post-seismic deformation for about two years after the event, measuring about 50 non permanent benchmarks in the surrounding area that allowed to derive important geophysical parameters.
